Madhabpur Lake is natural lake inside the Madhabpur tea estate. The water of the lake is so clean and clear that you can not stop yourself from jumping inside the lake. This lake is between the small hills, and most of the hills are planted with tea trees. At winter season different kind of migratory birds come here from cold countries so Bird lovers can see and enjoy different kind of birds here. This is an ideal place for Photographers. There is always heavy wind from the lake that made the water of the lake looks like a river or calm sea water. You must enjoy the view and quietness of this lake.

  • HOW TO GO
    First you have to come to Srimangal or Moulvibazar from Dhaka by Bus.
    Then from Srimangal or Moulvibazar you have to hire a CNG to reach Kamalganj.
    This lake is located 5 kilometers west side from the Kamalganj Upazila.

    There is a Parjatan Motel with a good restaurant for accommodation at Madhabkunda. There are many hotels and rest houses are available at Sylhet and Srimangal town so you can stay here.
