Here's a simple recipe for Beef Shatkora:

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg beef, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 3-4 shatkora fruits, sliced
  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon ginger paste
  • 2-3 green chilies, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for cooking
  • Fresh cilantro for garnishing

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in a large pot or pressure cooker.
  2. Add the sliced onions and fry until golden brown.
  3. Add the garlic paste, ginger paste, and green chilies. Fry for a few minutes.
  4. Add the beef pieces and fry until the meat is browned on all sides.
  5. Add the red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
  6. Add enough water to cover the meat and bring to a boil.
  7. Reduce the heat to low and cover the pot or pressure cooker.
  8. Cook for 30-45 minutes, or until the beef is tender and the sauce has thickened.
  9. Add the sliced shatkora and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes.
  10. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with rice or naan.
